The "Control Box" is the most used and requested option which comes with the BANDIT 240DB. It permits the installer to simply perform unit tests during the annual inspection and easily open the side hatch in order to change the HY-3 pack.
Installation:
The box has to be installed in an access secured housing. Normally the "Control Box" is installed in the housing of an existing alarm panem. The needed screws and nuts are delivered with the box. The box cannot be opened, the inner electronics and connecting wire are casted within. The casted
in connecting wire has a standard length of 12 metres. If it should be too short to reach the BANDIT , it can be extended with a max. of 100 Metres, using a standard 6 way alarm wire.
Normally connect colour to colour (best seperately soldered
and isolated and finished with a general isolation over the complete wire). In the packing of the “Control Box” you’ll find
the mounting screws and nuts, also a 6 way plug-in connector with screw connection.
